Hi,

I'd first look to his feet as the most likely cause - yes, again. I know you've tried changing farriers to no avail, but it is a sad state that there are more farriers out there who don't really understand the mechanics of a horse & his feet than those that do.

Therefore, don't just trust the 'experts' but educate yourself on what correct hoofcare is. I suggest starting at www.barefoothorse.com to learn about how the natural hoof works & what a healthy, balanced hoof - & therefore horse - looks like.

Of course, don't disregard the other suggestions, ensuring you're placing your weight correctly & that the saddle is ok. Also, he's a young horse & really shouldn't be doing any hard work with you. I'd also want to find an answer to this before you ride him, for your safety as well as his. He is at risk of injury, but if he fell on you, you might be in for worse.

Good luck.
