Hi, Billie! Glad someone remembers me. :)

If Ray Bunch has signed up for Enterprise, we're set. He's a fantastic composer. I wasn't really disparaging the score to the pilot, just the theme song, which the composer probably had nothing to do with. The score for the pilot didn't really make an impression on me either way...just that bad song. But either way, having Ray Bunch aboard is good news.

I hope I can help you with understanding Trek as much as possible. Admittedly, I don't know as much as some other fans. For instance, I wrote they got their history right when the episode featured the first conflict with the Klingons. I later learned from some Trek-spert friends of mine that humanity's first encounter with the Klingons was in the Original Series episode "Balance of Terror." Thus, the writers have completely contradicted well-established Trek history. :-/ Oh, well. As I said, I don't know everything, but I'll be glad to help out where I can.

I should also note that I found the second episode to be stronger than the first one. Let's hope it proves to be the standard rather than the fluke.

Thanks to everyone else who responded!

Tom
