Well, if anyone wants to go to a board where you're free to talk about Quantum Leap, Scott Bakula, Dean Stockwell, or anything off those topics--example: got a new puppy, last night's football game, etc.--I have a board just like that.

It is sectioned and has a board for every different topic you can think of for QL... Here's what is available on it:

***

*full moderation
*member profiles
*signatures
*ranks (explained later)
*personalized picture next to ID
*html within messages (including pictures, links, e-mail, and more!)
*a list of the ten most recent posts/replies
*a member list
*a welcome message to the newest member on the board
*it tells what members are on the board when you are
*if a topic is replied to, it is moved to the top
*messages with new replies are marked as "new"
*a "news" box at the top of the page that flashes any news items the administrator/moderator has entered

I have split the main board into several sub-boards (if there is such a thing as that), and they are:

"QUANTUM LEAP REVIVAL DISCUSSION"
***Revival Initiative Campaign: where we discuss the latest events of the Initiative and post the latest messages from alongtimefan

***Movie Ideas: where we discuss any ideas we have for a QL movie

***Merchandising: where we discuss any merchandise we'd like to see made for QL

***Attractions: where we discuss ideas for QL rides or attractions we have come up with

***Re-written Songs: where we post our original poems or re-written song lyrics that pertain to QL

"EPISODE DISCUSSION"
***Season 1: where we discuss S1 eps

***Season 2: where we discuss S2 eps

***Season 3: discuss S3 eps

***Season 4: discuss S4 eps

***Season 5: discuss S5 eps

***Episode Scripts: where we post any first draft scripts of any aired QL episodes (example: one member posted the original script for "Her Charm", which was quite different from the finished product, and the title was "Hidden Identity")

***Quotes: post your favorite quotes from or about QL!

***General: where you can discuss anything about Scott

***Movies: discuss any of Scott's movies (TV or theatrical)

***Television: discuss any of Scott's other TV series (or guest appearances)

"DEAN STOCKWELL DISCUSSION"
***General: where you can discuss anything about Dean

***Movies: discuss any of Dean's movies (TV or theatrical)

***Television: discuss any of Dean's other TV series (or guest appearances)

"QUANTUM LEAP FAN FICTION"
***General Fan Fiction: where we discuss any QL fan fiction sites, stories, or ideas not posted in the other Fan Fic categories

***Original Fan Fiction: post any original (meaning it's yours and it's not a crossover) QL fan fiction

***Crossover Fan Fiction: post any crossover QL fan fiction (that is yours, that is)

***Novels: discuss any of the novels and/or "making of" books

As you can see, there is a lot to see on the board, and a lot to do. There are two members who have graced the board with TONS of messages!

There is a rank system that is used for when a member posts a certain amount of messages. The ranks go as such:

Janitor: a QL board newbie
Project Secretary: has posted 50 messages
Project Technician: has posted 100 messages
Project Observer: has posted 250 messages
Leaper: has posted 500 messages

The moderator (myself) is the Project Administrator, and the administrator (also myself) is the Project Director (highest rank).
