Subject: Re: renewed rumors of QL movie

Tho I'm not holding my breath, rumors that *seemed* more concrete, of a QL movie made me smile, until...
I started thinking, *if* there is a movie, Deborah Pratt won't be involved (didn't she say she's "not involved anymore" or someone can tell me exactly how she phrased it?). I would feel concerned that a QL movie wouldn't be as good without its "heart."
Just a thought...
Having said that, I'd go see it anyway, as long as Scott was in it.
Enterpise is good and often fun, and sometimes interesting. I am missing the angst tho. Yearning for home must be the missing ingredient. Archer cares as much for his crew (and most of the universe -- even the ones who don't care for him) as Sam cared for "whoever the leapee of the week" was. Yet there is something not there... Or maybe that Sam got to spend a lot of time being tender with women. If Archer did that... conflict with co-workers. Maybe someone needs to give him more of a history than just, "hates Vulcans for impeding his father's dream". Lost loves ala Troi and Riker maybe?
