As far as I know, all that has been said concerning Pratt and QL is that she said to direct all questions concerning QL to Bellisario. I don't think she ever said she wasn't involved any more.

I just don't understand why some people think that Deborah Pratt is the real "heart" of Quantum Leap. QL is Don Bellisario's baby. He's the one who came up with the idea..... Who wrote the best episodes of QL---Genesis, MIA, Leap Home, Leap Back, Leap for Lisa... (and, yes, I'll admit it) Mirror Image??? Don Bellisario.

I don't have anything against Ms. Pratt. She was the voice of Ziggy, for goodness' sake! She wrote many good episodes--The Color of Truth, What Price, Gloria?, Shock Theatre, Dreams.... Heck, she wrote one of my all-time fav. episodes, "Another Mother"!

However, she was also the one who wrote the first Evil Leaper episode (and later on, "Revenge").... and the whole Evil Leaper idea doesn't sit too well with many Leapers (even Dean Stockwell once said he didn't like the EL idea).

Quantum Leap will live on, whether or not Ms. Pratt... or even Bellisario himself, are involved. Why? Because there are millions of Leapers out there who would never, EVER let QL die.... no matter what.

I actually think that Ms. Pratt might actually help *when* a QL movie is made... simply for the sake of the fans. I mean, we'll need someone to do the voice for Ziggy.... And no one can do that better than Ms. Pratt.

I think that, yes, Ms. Pratt *is* a PART of the heart of Quantum Leap... but we must never forget the man who made it all happen in the first place. Without him, there would BE no Quantum Leap.
