To me, the best thing about fanfic is it dosn't have to be "cannon". There is some great stuff out there, finding it is the hard part. I'm always happy to find some. I've written three myself. One of them is posted here. http://www.scottbakulaonline.com/fanfics/huckleberryleap.htm

It's called Huckleberry Leap. It's a short story that has both Sam and Al leaping. I usualy don't care for those type of stories (both of them leaping) but I had fun with this one. They leap into brothers (Al as the youngest) and have some "Huckleberry" adventures.
