Subject: Fan Fic Opinion Pole

I've begun work on a fan fic novel. I've got no real hopes of it being published as there is no longer a big market for QL fiction; however, it's really just for my own fun and perhaps the eyes of my fellow fans. I was just wonder what you all thought of fan fic that had Sam coming home. Personally it irritates me when I read fan fic that ignores what happened in Mirror Image. But is it just when people ignore Mirror Image or is it that no one likes to read about him coming home? Any input would be helpful. Thanks!!
