Even if you ignore inflammatory, he still falsely suggested that Obama described Wright as merely controversial and incendiary, without using stronger words to condemn him. This is an outright distortion of Obama's speech, which explicitly stated that Wright's remarks "weren't simply controversial" but "expressed a profoundly distorted view of this country."
