Date Posted: 07:51:49 11/02/07 Fri Author Host/IP: NAT31.tulsa.cc.ok.us/199.245.163.1 In reply to: Jimmy 's message, "A Prairie Home Companion" on 07:25:51 11/02/07 Fri I loved it too. I'd been meaning to write a review of it for awhile now (I've probably seen it five times). Keillor is an author, and the show's main writer and host. It actually exists. Every Saturday on NPR, 5 p.m. CST. As far as them not caring about others losing their jobs a). it's a movie, b). part of the appeal of the show and the basis for it's humor is the inherent stoicism found amongst the Germanic/Dutch peoples of winter-locked Wisconsin. And a deep affection for Powdered Milk Biscuits. In other words, as long as you're not dead, you'll live. Mr. B [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
