So many coon hunters here and still we never hear of it in Mississippi. I wonder if we just have less of it, or if people just don't check the coons and are lucky enough not to get bit by a coon they thought was "dead." I never hear of dogs getting it either. In fact, our state now only requires a vacination once every 3 years due to low incidence.
