I don't think training the bb to fight humans is necessary. IF done in the wrong circumstances it could be a fatal mistake. Boerboels have extreme temperaments. My grandma always says " A dog is a dog that means it will bite". If my one of my boerboels bite there will be blood and injury.

Can you gurantee that the dog will "bite only when needed," and not when it decides. Do not lie to yourself.

In areas where the population is dense this can be a serious liability.

Out of hundreds of people my dog may encounter in a week what percentage do you think give him trouble.

If a client of mine had questions about a puppies hips. I'd tell them a hip score is one indicator. Even if a dog has good hips there is no gurantee it won't through bad hips. Bigger dogs tend to be more prone to bad hips.
