First off ask your breeder what they are feeding. You want to switch them over to a new food slowly so you don't give them digestive upset.

I personally feed my puppies at 3 1/2 weeks, canned proplan, mixed with goats milk and nuvet suppliment and rawegg made into a mush. Once they reach about 4 1/2-5 weeks, they get dry ProPlan large breed puppy mixed with the mush and after 5 weeks they get the dry proplan and weaned off the canned and goats milk. However I keep all of my dogs on NuVet. Its an all around natrual suppliment that i swear by. Adds in the vitamins and minerals that are lacking in most commercial foods that the puppies need for optimal bone and joint growth. I've seen huge diffrences in litters that the moms were fed it prior and moms not fed at all.
