I agree with Bhodi. Until you have personally experienced something it is easy to say it is all faked. I too am a believer because I have been experiencing the strange and paranormal since I was a child. Mind you back then, it seemed normal to me.

I think it would be cool to actually get on the show. The trouble with the show is that it is so dark, people just freak themselves out. There might not actually be anything there, but a scared alone person is sure to see stuff especially with the intro by Alan Robson. That guy could make anyone scared to go in anywhere... even their own house.

I did however see the show where the chair moved. That was Chillingham Castle. All the equipment was failing and they had to use the room cameras, which captured more of the activity in the room. The Iron Maiden in the dungeon wasn't seen by the person in the room but it was shaking back and forth none the less. To fake that kind of thing would be really redundant and a waste of special effects.

I personally really enjoy the show, mostly because I would explore the things in a totally different way and sometimes the people chosen are just funny when they get scared.

Lame or not I think they have done a decent job considering that it is a Fox Family production.
