Subject: Problem scenario 1 - John listens to music online - please proof read, thanks

John listens to music online

John is almost 60 but not retired yet. He works for a publisher's house downtown. His job requires him to do researches over the Internet, so he's quite at ease with the web and surfs the Internet everyday, for both work and leisure.

One day, when John was surfing, he clicked "music" from www.yahoo.com and found the Internet radio provided by Yahoo. John spent several minutes finding out how to "turn on" the radio. He found a button with "listen", clicked on it, and a window with play and stop buttons poped out. After waiting for half a minute, The radio started working. It was not so hard to use, but the quality is not so good and sometimes a song breaked now and then with the window showing a message "buffering". The music also paused when John was surfing other sites while listening. Besides, it is hard to switch to another station. After trying for a while, John decided that he'd rather use a traditional radio tuner.

John's son visited him that weekend and John told him about that. John said that he would like to listen to some high quality music. John's son, Joe, a 25-year-old young man, suggested that Jogn could try to download MP3 music, which had much higher quality than online radio. Joe also showed his father how to search for MP3 files from the Internet, how to download them, and how to listen to them using Microsoft Media Player. John agreed that the quality was good, but he thought the whole procedure was too complicated. He decided to stick to his old home stereo system and his old CDs.
