Susan sells music online

Susan runs an online music store. She maintains a website "www.buyCDfromSusan.com", where the customers can browse all albums in stock, search albums by song titles, artists, or categories. Susan put a "preview" MP3 file on the site for each song, so that the users can dowbload them and listen to the first 30 seconds part of the song. If they like the song, they can place orders and buy the CD online.

After three months, Susan found that her sales numbers were not so satisfiatory. She did an online survey to ask the site visitors about their comments. The results told her that the customers wanted to download the complete song directly from the web site. Susan tried to provide this service, but she couldn't figure out a business model with which the users download music and pay online while the copy rights of the music are tightly protected.
