Detection of a ship dropping from hyper space and tracking a ship in a nebula are two different things. When a Star Trek ship's sensors are messed up by a nebula we don't really know by how much, since for a star trek ship, non-FTL sensors are short range. To go full impulse you have to know what is ahead.

I think the Nebula class would have a very good advantage on the Nebulon B.
