The Imps have no problem with either

That suggests that the Trek ship is at a dissadvantage. I have explained why the Imps won't have a problem with detecting the Nebula.

You just said that the Nebula's sensors aren't going to be all that trustworthy in the nebula. And in Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan we see that the sensors are useless in this specific nebula (don't bother refuring it, it is canon) and then you say that the Nebula has an advantage over the Nebulon B, please explaine.
