A Note to WarsGOD:
Rewatch Star Trek Generations

Whenever you destroy a star (don't make me prove this because it can be fatal to all of us on earth) the "local" (being everything within 1.23ly) gravitional forces are changed, granted the Bosman had to make a course correction but their drives didn't seizes to operate. And you very very very VERY clearly see the Enterprise jump to warp right after the destruction of Armagosa, tell me the gravitional forces from these stars had the effect of rendering the warp drive systems inoperative. Umm, no I just don't see that. I can except Voyager because when you start to modify the ship the ways Ba'Lona has it's very hard to tell how the engines would react under these gravitional stresses. Remember they hadn't been to an actual Starbase in years (literally) and the engine's and the [Swiss Army] Navigational Deflector are heavily modified. Unlike every major refit that the Enterprise had to go through twice a year.
