I don't get this comment, as far as I can see Clash of the titans is the fairest most reasonable fanfic I've read, in fact it gives the edge to Phasers over Turbolasers, using the fact that Phasers seem to travel much faster and have a range (max) of about 300 000 Km, this gives Trek ships a few minutes for turbolasers to reach them (this in the fanfic has been reduced from a few hrs in the calculations done)
