umm, first theyre's this whole debate over what is offical and what isn't. And I hate to bust your bubble but the people who wrote the "Clash of Titans" web page are predjudice twords Star Wars, just like stardestroyer.net vs. Jeff Kennedy's story line is predjudice twords Star Trek. I'm not saying that I agree with Jeff Kennedy because he went to a little extream when righting his story. Just watch the movies and TV shows and draw your own conclusions, don't rely on the web's hear say, because of the "treknobable" from Star Trek we have a HELL of a lot more source material to defend our claims. Ex: 5 TV Series, and 9 movies. What does Star Wars have??? 5 movies, and 1 EWOK Tv series. And since in the movies they don't define what a "turbolaser" (and warslings, don't start quoting shit from Tech Manuals and RPG guides [both of which are not official]) turbolasers can be comprehended to be nothing more then a laser beam with a tracer on it. Hush you warslings, don't make me get my broom stick. I will admit that some of the more hardcore "treklings" do fall back on the Tech Manuals which (no matter what these treklings say) are not official sources of information. Yes they are cool to read but that is all they are, reading material. Let's remember. Stick with the movies and what is seen and they are comprable to each other as far as shielding and weapons go. Star Wars is more powerful but Star Treker's have have better tactics so it balances out.
