Economics asside...lets put this in perspective. Youre at school...you go home to find that your mother or sister or family member has been raped then stabbed to let bleed to death. How would you react man? Me, personally i would make it my mission to see that that individual has recieved the same fate within the realms of the law of course, and indeed be incapable of ever commiting such an act ever again. DO ON TO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD DO ONTO YOU. This, i cant back with any political philosophers, or occurances in history, but its how i feel man. If we bring economics into it....seeing a convicted murder to death and indeed justice is money well spent even if more costly. Its a moral standing...
