 I am a bit confused here; these contestants are going to school or working out of the state. Most schools start in late August and finish in May if you are on a dance / cheer squad, sports team or band you report at the beginning of August; meaning you are committed and out of the state for 8 to 9 months. It is not fair to the local title or even really possible to attend school out of state and adequately serve MD local / state. These contestants have made a choice to attend school and continuing to participate in MAO near their schools and while I will always root for my home state I will keep them in my thoughts.
