Subject: Hi to all!

I just got the URL today and am looking forward to meeting the participants and reading your thoughts.

I am a 43 yo woman who has been in serious seeker mode for about the last 5 years. I can't say I identify with any certain religion or philosophy but the Belief-O-Meter says I would be happy as a Neo-Pagan or Wiccan. To tell you the truth, I wasn't even sure I believed what I put down on the Belief-O-Meter. Some things "resonate" for me, like Jung's ideas surrounding spirituality (collective unconscious, archetypes, synchronicity). I also like the gentle "undifferentiated" spirituality associated with yoga and meditation. I am interested in past life regression and also spirit guides. I remember reading somewhere in Gnossis's topic that someone felt "shivers" when they were thinking about spiritual things. So do I. (just had it now). It goes over my arms and sort of envelopes me. Years ago, I remember thinking at the time that this feeling PROVED that my religion (Charismatic Episcopal) was the "right" one because obviously God was sending me signs when I prayed. Now here it is ...years later. I pretty much abandoned the church and the teachings...but the feelings of spiritual enveloping are still there. Now I believe we are being embraced for ourselves.

Thanks for the invitation Gnossis :-)

Suzanne
