Hi, and welcome to the discussion group! Was interested about your comment re Gnosticism. I am familiar with the Gnostics that sprung up early in the history of the Christian church, but it was my understanding that that sect eventually faded out. Is the current practice of Gnosticism the same as or based on the earlier sect, or is it entirely different? I wasn't aware that there are modern-day Gnostics. Is it organized? or is it more of a loosely knit group that follows or adheres to certain beliefs. Would like to hear more about it, if you care to share what you know/believe. Thanks!
