First off The Smith Brothers enjoyed The Prescott Outlaws race.BUT,The Smith Brothers family just could not stand the popping,banging and backfiring bracket cars along with the lawn mowers slowing the show down so sadly it was called a night after the first round.Next time family stays home!!
What did everyone think of the small ci. big block ProCharger Camaro.Was that the most unconventional entry since the Studebaker truck or what?It is reported that car was 327ci.Smith Brother moles stretch far and wide and may not be exact but will be damn close so watch this board for more info on the upcoming second race.
The Smith Brothers also noticed tuning and setup problems with C.Box's Nova that would have made up the 10th he needed but K&L Race Team was also on hand and noticed the same thing so next race will be getting close to being all different in the all motor class of Real Street.The Smith Brothers would also like to say to bad for the silver turbo Mustang that hit the pole.That car looked good and brought back memories of how it was done back "in the old days".Pulling the wheels while simultaneously squealing the tires is not done much anymore.Also people are getting wise to 5.0 type Mustang owners pulling their tail light covers off and barely sticking them back on to make their cars look faster when they fall out after takeoff but first timers love it.
And to wrap it up people in the stands sometimes can be as interesting as some cars.Take for example the drunk river rats that smelled like goats who sat in front of The Smith Brothers family,Doc Baker backfired and the guy started hollering at him "You can't use nitrous on a blower!what's wrong with him ?he can't use nitrous on a blower,nobody does that!"Now there are 25 people who are NASCAR fans that don't know any better that probably believe he had a bottle on it! Thanks for a great show.It will save drag racing
