A powerglide (I don't care who builds it or how much it costs) will live a very short life behind a turbo engine. Look at the big name turbo racers and you will find Liberty's, Lenco's, Jeffco's, etc behind them - NOT powerglides, TH-400's or C-6's!! I researched this area thoroughly before changing to turbo-power. All the 'glide builders can say their unit will survive - very few actually will and those won't live long. On a sidenote, for what a race prepped powerglide costs (about $5500 or more) you can buy a bulletproof 3-speed Lenco - a Bruno unit will add about $3000 more. Blow up that powerglide twice and you've just paid for a Bruno/Lenco - and you won't ever break it. I'll get off my soapbox now but ease up on the tranny builders - I'm sure they're doing their best- they don't don't quite understand the beast they're trying to handle.
