There is indeed a network of tunnels connecting many of the major buildings on UK's campus. These tunnels can be accessed from both the Whitehall classroom building and from the Patterson office tower, and you can get all the way over to Funkhouser. Back in the day, it was the best place on campus to smoke up, provided you knew the right people from PPD to let you in (which required that you share with said PPD employee).
