There is also a very large quarry on Manchester St. at S. Forbes Rd. This is very near McConnell Springs the source of the town branch. Reportedly this quarry has extensive tunnels under the city and at one point had to reduce the amount of blasting they did underground due to lawsuits from the residents of Cardinal Valley neighborhoods, which leads me to believe that the tunnels must be extend pretty far from the entrance to the quarry.

As for the UK underground. I have heard reports that there is an extensive network of man-made tunnels that connects all of the older buildings on campus to one another. These tunnels were used for maintenance of the steam pipes and reportedly provide access to areas of buildings that would be off limits otherwise.
