Well, we agree on this part.

But not here. No one was called "Christian" until gentiles were converted in Antioch(Acts 11). Even at that, the evidence would seem to indicate that the term was one of ridicule. It isn't used by Paul. Peter uses it once in a negative sense-if any one suffers as a "christian." It is only used one other time, in Acts. I think the term is highly misunderstood and, consequently, misused.

Well, how do you understand the fact that the disciples were proclaiming a gospel when they weren't even aware that Christ was going to die?
