I also understand that during the compression of MP3 that some of the audio quality is lost. Do you have any specs on the dynamic responses/ranges of MP3? Am definately interested in the format but only if the audio quality is there. I have a huge music library & am looking to add & share.

Also can MP3 maintain some of the new standards such as HDCD?
