NO! all you spiderman fans have nothing to even argue about on this site. toby mcguire is a loser and the spiderman movie was sub-par, plain and simple. the one good part of that movie was mary jane in the rain. second, if the argument is about who would win and eveyone is saying superman they are wrong. i mean he may win, but don't count batman out. lesser villans have beaten superman....i have no doubt the dark knight would outsmart him. third, this movie idea is great! if it's just a superhero fighting a villan everyone knows who will win. but hero vs. hero., it's genious! no matter who wins it will be a good movie. p.s. B-man is the worlds greatest detective, and although he does not have super strength, he's got wit, resources and every martial art form all down in one. the fact that superman is strong is almost a bad thing because he relies on his strength too much rather than outwitting his opponents. whereas batman always thinks of a way out.

Bruce Wayne was leaving a building. He was shown from a series of wide shots, each getting further and further away until you couldn't even make out buildings anymore. Wayne then says "what do you want?" and we see that Superman is flying high above Gotham City. No human could see that high but Batman KNEW Supes was watching him. Batman keeps security rosters on how to defeat every member of the JLA and constantly surveys even characters as harmless as the Cluemaster. You don't think he surveys the actions of someone as powerful as Superman? What you are doing is exactly what i refered to in my post titled "Logical reasons Batman would win" dated 3/26/03. You are robbing Batman of his ability to always stay ahead of any potentially dangerous situation. You might just as well say Superman can't fly.
