Hey K Strahm, I hope I didn't come across as too affensive before, you see I forget to take my medication sometimes. Anyway I now see your point on Batman vs Superman. After all Batman is one very sneaky bastard and he would not be above pulling all kinds of dirty tricks which Superman would never stoop to. Yet for that same reason Batman would lose to the likes of Preacher, Hitman, Punisher, Gunslinger and Pilgram. Batman lacks their steely killer instinct and that is enough to convince me that he would probably lose in the end. Batman's appeal and strength is in the psychology of his character. he is not only the worlds greatest detective, but he pits his will against insane foes.in the comics there are allways more complications intervening to make things more interesting, but in the likes of say The Punisher he would be faceing a straight-on, no questions asked threat with well aimed bullets firing at him. you might say what if Batman is wearing anything to protect himself from such fire power, but the image where most used to of Batman dosen't where anything that could't be shot through, so its not even a factor, besides again you'd have to baby him with a head start and even then his face is always exposed and the likes of The Punisher are a good enough shot to put a bullet between Batman's eyes. If Frank didn't want to outright kill Batman then Bruce could use that sneakyness of his to slip away depending on where got shot and how badly (Because if Frank wanted to hit Batman he would)Batman is better at hand to hand than Frank and it would be over if he could somehow disarm Frank but that is the trick, as fast as Batmans reflexes are, he is a turtle compared to Frank Castle. No I think those guns are staying right where they are and Batman would end up looking like Swiss cheese if he ever tried taking them.Sorry man but an opponent like The Punisher is too ruthless, too fast and too direct for Batman. P.S. I think you'll find Hitman's battles with Batman in the first Hitman TPB.
