Islam is a religion of peace and submission to one God,
the Most Gracious, Most Merciful. It encompasses one fifth
of the world's population totaling more than one billion
individuals representing a wide array of ethnic and cultural
backgrounds, and yet united in their faith and duties as
Muslims. Many misconceptions imbue the western perception
of Islam and wrongly portray it as a religion supporting
violent endeavors and the subordination of women. In reality,
Islam is a religion of peace and liberation, preaching
equality among humanity and transcending race and gender.
As students living in a misinformed society, this is our
modest effort to enlighten all individuals seeking to further
their understanding of Islam, through the eyes of its
followers.

Muhammad in His Own Words
Terror: Bukhari Allah’s Apostle said, “I have been made victorious with terror!” Qur’an I shall terrorize the infidels. So wound their bodies and incapacitate them. Tabari The battle cry was: “Kill! Stupidity: Bukhari The Prophet said, “I have been caused by Allah to forget the Qur’an. So keep reciting it because the Qur’an escapes faster than a runaway camel.” Bukhari Satan circulates in human beings as blood flows in our bodies. Science: Bukhari If a man has sexual intercourse and gets discharge first, the child will resemble him. Tabari Gabriel brings the sun a garment of luminosity. It is longer in the summer. The sun puts it on as you put on your clothes. Tabari The sun tumbles from its chariot, causing a total eclipse. Tolerance: Bukhari If a Muslim discards his religion, kill him.
