There has come to you a good ADVICE from your Lord, a HEALING for that which is in your breasts (disease of ignorance, doubt, worry, hypocrisy, and differences), a GUIDANCE, and a MERCY (explaining lawful and unlawful things) for the believers. Say: In the Bounty of Allah, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islam and the Qur’an); therein let them rejoice. That is better than what they amass.” (Surah Yunus, 57-58) “And know that your wealth and your children are only a TRIAL.” (Surah Al-Anfal, 28) STOP RIGHT THERE! DON’T GET DEPRESSED! DON’T LOSE YOURSELF OVER SILLY TRIVIALITIES! DON’T OVER-INDULGE IN WORRY ABOUT WORLDLY MATTERS! WORRY ABOUT THE QUR’AN! Don’t be one of those who ABANDON the Qur’an! Abandoning belief! Abandoning proper reading! Abandoning understanding! Abandoning carrying out its commands! Turning away from it for something TRIVIAL! Inner peace is ONLY in nearness to ALLAH… “But whosoever turns away from My remembrance, verily for him is a life of HARDSHIP, and We shall raise him up BLIND on the Day of Resurrection.” (Surah Ta-Ha, 124) Follow the lights of wisdom and be a CARRIER of the Book of ALLAH… The Prophet PBUH said: “Whoever recites the Qur’an, learns it, and acts according to it will be given a CROWN of LIGHT to wear on the Day of Judgment whose light will be like the Sun. His parents will be clothed in two garments that did not exist in this worldly life. So, they will say, “what has caused us to be clothed (in these garments)?”It will be said, ‘your child taking hold of the Qur’an (i.e. memorizing it and acting upon it) has caused this.”(Al-Hakim graded it authentic and Ath-Thahabee agreed with him) Prophet PBUH: “Indeed Allah will elevate some people with this book and He will degrade others with it.” (Saheeh Muslim) Be ACTIVE and PROPAGATE !
