“Terror in the Holy Land”

A glimpse into the world of the Palestinian
occupied territories and refugee camps

Palestinian-American journalist, and Editor-in-chief of the Palestine Chronicle, Ramzy Baroud will stop in George Mason University to kick off his book tour and speak on the pressing issue of the Middle East Crisis.

"Searching Jenin: Eyewitness Accounts of the Israeli Invasion 2002", a collective effort of nearly 60 scholars, reporters, and activists, Palestinians, Israelis and Internationals, is edited by Ramzy Baroud, and includes a Forward by the highly-renowned scholar, Noam Chomsky.

February 10, 2003 at 7 P.M.

Johnson Center - Dewberry Hall (Ground Floor)

Baroud’s columns were published, translated or reviewed in world renowned newspapers such
as the Guardian (Britain), Le Monde (France), Christian Science Monitor
(USA), International Herald Tribune, Washington Post (USA), Al Quds
(Palestine), Arab News (Saudi Arabia), La Razon Digital (Spain), Jerusalem
Post (Israel), in addition to scores of printed and online publications
across the world. He received the excellence in journalism award from the
US National Arab and Muslim Journalists Association in 2002. In addition
to his English work, his Arabic columns are published weekly by the famed
Al-Arab International newspaper in London.
