-..brute laid his heavy muzzle 'tween outstretched paws, his one good eye gazing wearily at his surroundings. the other was covered by a film of angry-gray, the ominous colour of the impending storm. tail twitched with irritation at the silent darkness which covered these lands. no familiar scents could be picked up, either washed away by time or covered up. a wistful sigh, and the brute sat up 'pon great haunches, keeping a steady lookout... for what, he didn't know just yet..-
