Gazing lazily at the exstensive nothing that plastered itself over this sad sad patch of earth that dared to call itself a "homeland" the sandpapered feliness grunted with exasperation. At this moment the cynical puma was a lightning rod for annoyance and utter incouragable hate with anything and everything. She was daftly amazed at the fact that she hadn't just rotted away from pure unescapable bordome that settled over this land like a plauge, so pungently that she swore it was scentable in the very air. In fact, it was more than bordome (that was a kind word) it was nothing less than near death. The lonelyness that seeped around every bend had even began to eat at her brain like a chronic cancer, deteriorating the will of life. Yet, somehow, she had willed through it all.
So there the cougar lay, perched upon a vertical branch that exstended from her tree, bracing her mental state and hoping that she might just skirt the insanity part of a mid life crisis. Then, as the fog began crispened with the crystalin vapor given off by the moon rays, her keen eyes caught the shifting form of another moving through the night mist. Swearing to herself that she had finaly snapped and she was seeing illusions of ghastly spectruls her head rose to get a better peering angle. Well she'd be daft if she ever let her sanity slip, of course, at the moment seeing ghostly apparations of past aquantances walking about as real as day didn't rank very high on her mental strong hold right now. However when the cougaress finaly figured out that she wasn't seeing some impending omen that the sky was going to burn to hell and that the large cat was really flesh and blood, and when she figured out who it actualy was, the only words that came to mind and out her stiffened jaw were,

"aw, crap."
