Rosewoods eyes glinted with so fierce a light the rats were forced to an abrupt halt.
From the bushes Tarquin stifled a giggle at the sight of the scared rats, the crying captain and his best friend Rosewood.

"don't kill me, please" begged Cap'n Longhole "i didna bean you no 'arm."
"oh no?" asked Rosewood "then what's this?" she pointed to a long deep claw mark on her cheek.
the captain and a few of his officers looked guilty
"that was only in self defence likes" longhole said.
"well, if your officers move that so called "self defence will cost you your life"

Tarquin quickly skipped away to get the long patrol. Rosewood can be hasty and may need back-up.

on the other side of the woods a large horse and cart was coming along the path at top speed. the cart contained rats, stoats, weasels, and the odd pine marten. the biggest rat stood on the hay and looked into the woods.
DarkDeath was coming.
