Subject: What I don't understand?

This may get to be long......
This reflects my opinion....
I have no idea where to start.....

This kinda pisses me off. Blowing off some steam.
Every year I get on Myth in the spring for the MWC to try to get ppl organized or pumped up to play again. I get a cable connection. I spend countless hours working up strategies for our team. I make films to send out to ppl so we all are on the same page. When I say hours..I mean it...ask my wife and kids. When I do something, I give 100%.
I spent day and night practicing new trades and strategies, so out team does well. I play against good players to try and shake off the rust.

When its all over..I start to have fun and just enjoy myself. I don't care about winning and usually have a tendency to rush :) Why? cause I don't care!
Here is the thing (I am just typing what comes to mind, I don't proof-read anything). For a mnay years I asked ppl and Tanks for help and tips for TFL. I never got a response. No help. I can't micro, due to my bad color blindness. If the units are a very obvious color differance, I can do a little.
ON Myth II....I asked once again for any help. Nobody ever has anything to help me. No tips, no nothing. I ask ppl in this clan....still nothing.
We have some good players in this clan that refuse to help out other clanmates. Are they obligated? not really. I am tired of this. You ppl with your superiority complexes can shove it up your ass. You are too good to help us little ppl who are struggling or could use some tips?
I hear...we don't come to unranked because there are no good competition games. Try helping out other ppl so they get better! oooK I think I am done ranting. I thought the reason ppl joined clans was because you enjoyed playing a game with a group of ppl. To watch each others backs. To make the clan better. It appears that is not the case in this clan. I would like to change that.

I have recently gotten pretty good at Myth this week. No its not luck (we all still have our good days and bad ones).
This week I have out archered 2 ppl from the clan NP. I have out archered 1 person from a group called BIA2? whoever they are..and in 1 game I had mid with 12 archers..and took out 24 of the enemies archers..losing on 3 of mine. Was he a noob? (there have been plenty on lately) NO he wasn't. He plays alot and is a prince in ranked. I have also learnd how melee the right way. I have won 90% of my even melee fights. Am I bragging? hell no.
I am saying, I am more than willing to help anyone out...if you want to get better or just pass tips back and forth. It seems about 50% of the rank whores know this trick..the other 1/2 don't and most of unranked doesn't either. It is amazing what can be learned by paying attention.
I mentioned what I figured out to a ranker this week and he said "If everyone knew how to do that....it would be alot harder for some of us to get a higher rank....we share those kinds of things with friends only."

What I have learned isn't going to win you games all the time..it just helps you even the odds a bit. It is called
"Gesture Clicking" or G.C. It is a simple thing to learn. I have been kicking alot of ass with it...I have taught 1 person already..and he has been playing Myth for 7 years. It is amazing what ppl keep a secret. I know some ppl will say "It isn't a secret"...those ppl can blow me. Every person I mention this too..never heard of it. Very few ppl..like a few guys of MA I talked to..said it is the only way they play...
So those of you who know this kind of stuff in this clan and don't share tips or tricks with fellow Tanks...what is up your ass? You afraid you might lose your superiority in a 8 year old game? I have yet to view some recent Tank films to see if anyone from our clan knows GC or the other tricks I learned in the past couple of weeks.

The sad thing now is...I am winning..and I hate it. I feel like I have an unfair advantage over alot of ppl. I play the game and see all the mistakes I have been making for years. I see almost every player doing the things I used to do. I got sick of M2 soooo much this week..I almost threw out my CD. The fact that ppl don't help out other ppl..just so they can keep winning. This is idiotic! I stopped using GC...in my games.
I only use it when going up against someone I know knows how to do it. Another sad thing is..these average players (like me) used to think they were just stupid and that these great players were some kind of gods of Myth. That we all knew the same things...just I just sucked.

I am still not a great player...I lack tricks for alot of differant units like locks, fetch..dorfs and souls. My main focus has been archers and melee. Now that I understand the game more..I am beginning to hate it. I lack multi-tasking. I can only focus on 1 person at a time. None of this means I am a great player. Just understanding the game better and it helped even the odds a little more. I never thought I could ever our archer a player from NP, let alone 2. I am beating ppl ranked in the top 10. Does this make me feel good? Not really..I don't want to be one of them.
Someone also asked me if I wanted to join up with him and do some serious rank games so we could be Emps. I said no. I went back and started clicking on the enemy just like everyone else. I don't want to be known as anything other than Dio.

In finish:
I would like to get with fellow Tankers and we can swap tips. This is rediculous! Why would you not want to help out a fellow clansman? Why wouldn't you want your clan to get better as a whole? I love being a Tank. I will share whatever little knowledge I have of the game with anyone who asks. If we can't work together more and be more of a clan...I may throw out my Myth CD and be done permanently.
There is no other clan I would want to be in.

I'm not proof-reading any of this. Sometimes I need to get things off my chest. That is what this PRIVATE message board is for right?
