It just lets us know who you are more :)
Hmm...I am sorry about the way your life is going..You don't seem very happy :/
Yes, intelligence only goes soo far..Not meaning anyhting to you Psi.
A cousin of mine, who is 12..has the ability to pass H.S. right now and move onto college...but seriouly lacks social skills...he can't even understand simple things. My son (who is struggling in school right now and is 11) can kick the crap outa him in Chess. Paul (cousin) also lacks a ton of wisdom and knowlegde..he makes poor choices and isn't great with humor...when I joke with him..it takes him a few seconds to get it..
I am also a very dark sacastic person...this goes way over his head. I hope someday he over comes this...I fear I am the only person in the whole family that gives him the attention he needs..plus I challege him...I think he enjoys that.
Myself.....even though most ppl think I am really smart...act like a total child. I enjoy board games with my kids...I love haveing snowball fights and making forts for them. I was the cub scout leader and I am also my sons and his friends Dm for dungeons and dragons..it seems this game has jumped leaps and bounds. Everyone is playing it I think.
I am working with my son on photography and sword fighting right now as well. Now I am just blabbing on.
Either way...we all make mistakes and learn from them.
Intelligence can have its advantages...but it doesn't get you love and respect.
There is a guy at work....total idiot...very slow, and you ahve to repeat yourself over an over to get him to fully understand...but he is one of the sweetest guys you will know. He is an incredible man.
My uncle...not book smart at all! The one who past away last fall :( (that is still killing me)
He could tell you anything about nature, civil war, WWI, WWII or the revolutionary war. He could name every general and when they died and where they fought. He knew every plant and tree..and make you laugh from morning to night.
That is more important than any IQ number.
I would gladly strip away 23 points (that would make me average :b to be 1/2 the man he is.
Nice job on the ACT Psi! Stop reading this or you'll miss the short bus.
