Subject: Enga has hope in leading the Nation

We all would want to believe that an Engan will lead this incredible nation to prosper just the way we all want. It is so obvious that the current 109 members in parliament are all corrupt and are leading this nation straight into destruction.

One day the gold, copper, silver, oil, gas and timber we are depending on to generate and maintain this country’s economy will all be depleted. When this happens, people like Michael Somare and his son Arthur will be living some where else (as it seems, Cairns) and laugh away whilst the very country that they have been leaching and building their empires from is collapsing big time. Reading in the National (7th November 2008), Arthur Somare claims to have bought a A$685,000 (K1.2 million) four-bedroom home with his wife at Trinity Beach, just north of Cairns explaining that it was to accommodate his children studying in Australia. Regardless, this is a class example of what is happening to this country’s money.

There are so many of us that would want to see an Engan lead Enga and this nation but for this to happen, some major changes need to happen immediately. Engan way of thinking needs a turn around. Attitude, way of politics, wantok - system, etc. The right person from Enga to be chosen to lead Enga and this nation will not happen if we have all the mal-practices in our voting systems and are still the same. It is so clear that Peter Ipatas, Don Polye or John Pundari are not the chosen ones to take the lead to lead this nation and Enga because they are so corrupt and altered.
That one person to come from Enga to lead Enga and the PNG as a whole is out there. We will all wait for him to appear victorious in supposedly the next election. I hope the current Engan MPs share a similar sentiment as it is so very clear that they are not the ones to lead this nation.

On spot mate. Refer to the previous thread esp the comments made by Pele-Economist as his comments point out the type of Engan that is needed to lead Enga and PNG.

I still believe that an Engan will bring change to the province and country!

Cheers!
