Thought I might put up the link for the PNG Olympic team competing in Beijing, for anyone interested. (The web site is a bit disappointing, not a lot of information about the individual athletes)

I hope the athletes do well in all areas.

Many people in this country are lazy and useless in many areas....they want money for everything and don't get the job done. Officials to the Olympics outnumbering athletes.....what a waste.

One more thing, can anyone put up the link to the PNG rugby league world cup team n officials?

Taa

Even team PNG was not on the Opening Parade. I could be wrong. Was eager to see the PNG flag, but didn't see it. Anybody?

1. The traditional parade of nations was the first test, and it went off without a hitch or protest. Papua New Guinea's athletes may have had the most dazzling costumes, wearing red and gold with black skirts for both men and women.

2. BEIJING - AUGUST 08: Ryan Pini of the Papua New Guinea Olympic aquatics team carries his country's flag to lead out the delegation during the Opening Ceremony for the 2008 Beijing Summer Olympics at the National Stadium on August 8, 2008 in Beijing, China.
