I guess our Wabag MP has gone out preaching again this time to the public servants while he is yet to come up with plans on how to realistically disburse his allocation of K10M to his own electrorate..

�Use fund to benefit all�

THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and Immigration Sam Abal has challenged public servants in the country to work with vigour this year and deliver service efficiently to the people, now that each district had K10 million available for developmental programmes.
Minister Abal said that never before had districts seen this kind of money.
He added that the people also must not see this as a free handout from the National Alliance Government.
The minister said that the money was for the people and must be used to fund projects and bring development for the all people in the districts to benefit from.
He said that the Government had played its part by allocating the money to all the districts.
Mr Abal added that the challenge was now with the public servants to facilitate and draw down the funds and provide services to all the people at the districts and the country as a whole.
The minister said that the public servants were the people in the middle who act as a bridge between the Government of the day and the ordinary people.
Minister Abal said it was through the public servants that Government projects flowed and get implemented for the people to utilise.
The minister said that he hoped all districts in the country should be able to see better road networks in their areas, improved law and order situations, more classrooms for schools being built, and clean water and electricity for use by the people in all of the districts.

Sam Abal is a visionary and a humble leader..... unlike the other Engan Leaders. The only problem he got is the the guys working around him as project officers, advisers, and etc and kanakas who want to get much benefit as possible when their tribesman is in power.
I just hope he recruits some well educated elites from Wabag district to help develop the town.
Enga needs to set up a Enga Development Advisory Committee comprised of Academics, professionals and other specialised personals that can help develop strategies for a better Enga.
To this date, Enga does not have a qualified town planner, and a brilliant economic adivisor to see real changes.
