The Merck company today released an analysis of cancelled trials which suggest that its vaccine might have increased susceptibility to HIV infection. Nine Australians are believed to be among thousands of people who are unaware a once-promising vaccine for AIDS has increased their infection risk after they participated in clinical trials around the world. Professor Ian Ramshaw from the John Curtin School of Medical Research says it is highly significant news after disappointing results from a number of other HIV vaccine trials. "This is one of the larger trials where they're basically looking at susceptibility and it's extremely disappointing, because the immunity is quite high in these individuals," he said. "It means, by the looks of things, there won't be a HIV vaccine for a good while yet, whether we'll get one at all." Trials cancelled The multinational trials involving more than 3,000 HIV-negative volunteers were cancelled in September after a large-scale study found the vaccine was not effective at preventing infection. Researchers have this morning revealed far worse news - those who received the V520 vaccine are more susceptible to acquiring the AIDS virus. The volunteers were warned to protect themselves from exposure to AIDS but were not told if they were administered the vaccine or the inactive placebo. The information was kept secret to minimise biases in the study. Scientists will decide over the next 10 days whether those involved in the trial should be told about whether they were given the vaccine or not. Merck says volunteers can opt out of the study now and be told if they were given the HIV vaccine. God has promised in the new testament era never to show anger towards mankind. My Opinion: This is a disease created by a few ultra-rich racist whiteman to take over the world. Their intent is to eradicate all indegenous colored people off the face of this planet. Of course they have the antidote but who said they will make it known to the world. They have a sinister motive behind this and will see to it that their objectives are fulfilled. These aer the people who control the cash flow of the world and are the very figures behind the World Bank, IMF, UN and other multinatonal bodies. Please do research this topic in your library or the internet and get to learn some facts from my perspective. I have read a few things on this and am starting to believe that these few racists started this disease in the US in the late 60s and now its raging across the planet. Most of the peoples who have suffered from AIDS are colored people. It also fail to take into consideration the lack of genetic-engineering technology available to 'create' the virus when AIDS first appeared. 40 million people currently living with AIDS/HIV and more than 25 million have died since 1981 with around 63% of people living with HIV are in sub-Saharan Africa. All the theories you have mentioned are theories that different scientists have developed when investigating the possibilities of the origin of Aids. Each of these individual scientists seems to be adamant about their individual theories and think that each of their theories are true and correct. So which theory do we take to be true??? Or could we say the source or spread of Aids has come about by a combination of many different events??. Your opinion on disease being created by a few ultra-rich racist whiteman to take over the world also had great controversy when a African female Environmentalist and Political activist called Wangari Maathai mentioned the same that AIDS was deliberately created by Western Scientists to decimate the black population. Again, this are just some whacked out theory without any basis or evidence but easy to believe to be true. And I think the reason HIV strain in white AIDS victims are different and causes less severe weakening of the body defense mechanisms than those in the coloured people are because of the clean environment, good food, personal hygiene, love, care etc. then the coloured people who tend to discriminate and also do the unthinkable once discovered they are infected. So like you said, we don’t need to believe everything that a whiteman says or take things at face value. We can look at their theories but draw our own conclusions. If the scientists don’t even know how the disease came into be then who would know??? I believe ONLY God knows the answer. AIDS is universal and affects everybody. Whether, they are rich, poor, black, white, green, yellow, red.
