1aku, I think you are correct. It doesn't matter how this terrible disease originate. What we as a people need to do now is to protect ourselves from this disease.

We need to educate ourselves and our people on HIV/AIDS so that they can take measures to prevent its spread. Right now Enga is experiencing an unprecedented increase in HIV/AIDS. The Big people to the smallest in status are dropping like flies everywhere in Enga. How can we stop this AIDS? I come from one of the villages surrounding the Wabag town and i have heard a lot of people from my village dying from AIDS.

One unfortunate thing I heard is that the HIV Coordinator that looks after monies from donor agencies like AusAID and the government seem to be getting rich overnight. this person comes from my village and he has been seen to be throwing cash left right and center. this is blatant and a gross missuse of funds and such people should be thrown behind bars. It is the actions of irresponsible people like this that stops PLWHA from getting enough care and medication to proplong their lives also it stops people from recieving information about this disease that may save their lives. I call upon the Enga administration to look into this matter and sort it out. There is too much corruption because of the fact that HIV/AIDS ia a hot issue that is attracting top donor monies.

Hi concerned...you have raised some valid points but I disagree with this sentence: ...I call upon the Enga administration to look into this matter and sort it out.... The EPG is corrupt itself so I would suggest the National Aids Council and the Department of Health to investigate this. I wouldn't be surpised if this guy (misusing funds) is an Ipatas cohort.

And back to the point of discussion; preventing from the deadly disease is better than looking at theories and bla bla bla! AIDS is wiping out the future generation of Enga...
What do we have to do: tell your loved ones, friends and relatives the consequence of this instead of trying to research into the so-called theories and origins. I think this would be the only way we can help our people. If they still wish to continue on, they are begging for Mr Death and no wo/men will stop that. Better protect yourself and live a God fearing life!!

The big solution to this deadly disease is to live a Godly life and mean business to look after yourself well as you've got only 1 life. Money and sex will never get back your life once it's gone.

Tingting blon me tasol.

Cheers!
