Excuse me, I'm not from Papua New Guinea or Enga, but an interested researcher on this field. I happen to find this forum while googling for HIV/AIDS information and is really interesting to read how people in that part of the world are discussing such issues. I wrote the context from my laptop and I'm posting it from a public i'cafe, because some of the things I'm going to say are conflicting and I don't want to be tracked down.

HIV/AIDS virus was created in Virginia State University. This was at the time when there was the mining boom in Africa. There are quite few books (novels) written on this by some well know writers. They used methaphors. The main idea was to eradict colored (black) race. Its a virus that weakens the energy supplied to the white blood cells. The one who came up with the anti-dote, (a taxas man), was kidnapped by authorities. The book written (half complete) by this man is till circulated among a group of people. They can't publish it, or else, they follow their leader. Just look at the Statistics of white and black(colored) AIDS victims!!! there's something to tell, lady aussie woman. I'm white but I believe in human dignity. Its just the color, everything is same. Why discrimination? its like you like apples but you prefer green from red apples, or fish from fresh water and sea.
For your info, the chinese gov't tried to invent another, but they failed to live up to their invention. They thought, it was a way of controlling their population. This is no difference to HIV/AIDS.
