They know who to cast their votes, they've decided already. The chances of Ipatas returning is very slim. Two months ago, people at Kompiam rejected him outright and forced him to return to Wabag. At another ceremony in Laigam, people there cheered and carried Torato on sholders and booed Ipatas. Kandep votes collected by Ipatas while with Don in 2002 will be history. Ipatas usually does not do well in Wabag and if Miki join forces with NA, his votes from Wapenamanda - Lower Lai, esp. may also be history. The silent majority are talking now. Only if the people of West Enga can endorse a untried candidate, they may be able to convince the people of Enga. West Enga's got the number but?... Enga needs good leaders with the best leadership qualities. We do not need recycled leaders like Torato. The only person that stands out is Daniel Kapi, little known to all of Enga but he will be a force. Most Engan elites have faith in him, DK is the only Engan who knows Ipatas weakness from inside and he is over qualified to give him a good challenge from Wabag. DK and his team failed to lock Ipatas behind the bars or dethrone him from office last year so they can try again thru the right process and venue, not continuous court battles crippling the all of Enga. Give him another 10 plus years. He reckons our elites will be ready for the top jobs in 10 years time as well. What a shame for MP's to think lowly of us....
