Do not want to distract you all from the election related discussion going on here but want to make an announcement.

PNG.j.sci.technol.eng (ISSN 1993-7687) is now accepting papers for its first issue. The journal has a very broad scope covering life sciences, physical sciences, social sciences, technology and engineering. One of the main aims of the journal is to provide a forum for young PNGeans (graduate students especially) to learn how to write academic papers for publication. So if you are a graduate student why not write up something and send it.

Some of the titles recieved so far have been published on a blog - http://www.pngjscitech.wordpress.com/ - specifically created to publish the abstracts. You can visit it to view the titles.

We are now compiling the papers for the first issue. But if you can send it before the end of June we might squeeze it in for the first issue. If not, it will be published in the second issue. The journal will be published twice a year.

You can write on any of the science fields (politics, economics, biology etc), techology and engineering. The article must have relevance to PNG.
