Coloninization has forever changed the lives and traditional way of life for original land owners and people. In many countries indigenous people have had their land dispossessed, land lost forever and rural people relocated to settlements with little or no land where that can provide food for living or survival.

The new PNG government however made a statement in the Constitution to protect traditonal culture and lands.

Keep your land and culture tight because "land is life".
