Subject: Are male Turkeys supposed to be mean to each other?

Hi,

I have 6 young turkeys, probably about 10 weeks old. We definitely have a male blue slate turkey since he toms so beautifully. I think we also have a male royal palm and a male brown turkey. Now I have seen the blue one picking on the others so badly that they end up having a bit of each other's skin in their beaks and are twisting this skin around. Is this normal behaviour? I've never owned turkeys before.

Also do the males and females twist their necks together rubbing as they go?

Thanks,
Marion
